Bigfork IT Solutions Inc. (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices California law gives you.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write when you email us, call us, or use the website assistant.
Text message information: if you sign up for texts, your name, mobile number, and a record of your consent (the date, time, IP address, and the wording you agreed to).
Technical information: your IP address, browser type, and device details, which are recorded automatically by our web host when you visit the site.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we ask that you do not share passwords, financial account numbers, or health information in the assistant or in email.

How we use it

To respond to your questions and requests.
To provide, secure, and improve this website.
To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

Who receives it

We use service providers to run this site: our web hosting company, our text messaging service provider (if you sign up for texts), Google Fonts (which loads the website’s typefaces and so receives your IP address), and Anthropic, whose AI model generates the assistant’s replies. Messages you type into the assistant are sent to Anthropic for that purpose. These providers process information only to provide their services to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers on this site. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and call records for as long as needed to respond to you and to serve you as a client, and as required by law. Web server logs are kept by our host according to its own schedule.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you;
request a copy of your personal information;
request that we delete personal information we hold about you;
request that we correct inaccurate personal information;
opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do neither); and
not be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email hello@bigforkit.com or call (949) 800-8588. We will verify your identity by matching details you give us with what we hold, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask for proof of their authority.

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code §1798.83) also lets California residents ask which personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing. We do not share personal information for that purpose.

Text message terms

By checking the box on our text sign-up form, you agree to receive text messages from Bigfork IT Solutions Inc. at the mobile number you gave us. Messages may include customer support conversations, service updates, appointment reminders, and promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@bigforkit.com or (949) 800-8588. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

This site does not track you across other websites, so it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
